Review 2019

I felt very negative about 2018 and therefore skipped the review.
But here we go again!


1.What did you do in 2019 that you'd never done before?
Went to a metal gig!

2.Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
I probably did not keep any but will make some for 2020

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No, I still avoid such situations

4.Did anyone close to you die?
Nope, avoiding death too.

5.What countries did you visit?
Just NL again.

6.What would you like to have in 2020 that you lacked in 2019?
Confidence.

7.What date from 2019 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
March 25th - started a fixed contract job

8.What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Finally getting the house sold.

9.What was your biggest failure?
Failed to keep my weight in check.

10.Did you suffer illness or injury?
Nothing out of the ordinary.

11.What was the best thing you bought?
My new phone.

12.Whose behaviour merited celebration?
My sauna and whisky buddy's

13.Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed sad?
My room mate's

14.Where did most of your money go?
Moving expenses

15.What events did you get really, really, really excited about?
The Steel Panther concert in February, of course!

Hunger Strike, albeit a bit older.

Nope, but I have gotten over someone.

I did not finish it, but The Wizards of Once was fun to start.

Pearl Jam!

A fixed contract.

A steady lover.

Again, not much going on in the cinemas for me, but Downton Abbey was lovely!

42 and I don't remember. Wasn't at work so chances are I slept.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
A _good_ and steady lover.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2019?
Hide the fat.

34. What kept you sane?
Still that cat.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most/least?
Still crushin' on Tom Hardy and Cillian Murphy.

Strache's Ibiza fiasco

Naros

My new TL, her son and "The Shop Girls"

2017 review

1.What did you do in 2017 that you'd never done before?
Does becoming an auntie count? My nephew Lemmy was born in Poland.

2.Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Maybe and definitely.

3. Did anyone close to you give birth?
No, but there have been some nice pet adoptions.

4.Did anyone close to you die?
Luckily not.

5.What countries did you visit?
Only two trips to the Netherlands. The biggest trip this year took place in my head.

6.What would you like to have in 2018 that you lacked in 2017?
Self-esteem

7.What date from 2017 will remain etched upon your memory, and why?
May 1st. Lots of emotional shit going on and a badass haircut was gotten in Rotterdam.

8.What was your biggest achievement of the year?
Sticking around and showing up (most of the time)

9.What was your biggest failure?
Manoeuvering myself into a corner.

10.Did you suffer illness or injury?
Changing meds caused some side effects, amongst which, fainting in public. But I'm well-padded.

11.What was the best thing you bought?
There's been so much internet shopping... My new pair of Magnum boots, maybe?

12.Whose behaviour merited celebration?
Akuma's. She truly is my Demon Nurse.

13.Whose behavior made you [appalled and depressed] sad?
Mine, at times.

14.Where did most of your money go?
Rent, internet shopping and my whiskey collection.

15.What events did you get really, really, really excited about?
The arrival of our project's end of year gift. How sad is that?

Probably something by Steel Panther, like Community Property

Standing up for myself.

No.

Sex with strangers? 1
Plus one night of various interactions in Tongeren...

"Taboo" and every second of Tom Hardy appearing in "Peaky Blinders".

25. Do you hate anyone now that you didn't hate this time last year?
No, I still don't do "hate".

Seeing that I only read one or two, it must've been Turtles All the Way Down

Better.

I adored "Victoria & Abdul", and avoided the theatre.

40 and I have no recollection of doing something special. Normally I tend to take myself out of the country. It was a Sunday however, so I didn't have to work.

32. What one thing would have made your year immeasurably more satisfying?
Honesty.

33. How would you describe your personal fashion concept in 2017?
A touch of swoosh and lots of tank tops.

34. What kept you sane?
Demon Nurse and a correct dosage of meds.

35. Which celebrity/public figure did you fancy the most/least?
Most: Tom Hardy
Least: Well, with Trump all over the media, he's an easy target for my revulsion.

36. What political issue stirred you the most?
#impeach

37. Who did you miss?
Always the one who left.

38. Who were the best new people you met?
Emma and Alexander, for being amongst the brave. 
Ikea, though she's also the worst.


39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2017...
Sometimes it takes three to tango.

40. What are your plans for 2018?
Stay healthy, travel, spend more than two nights in a row with someone.

Visited a swingers club, took part in a threesome, had 80 needles placed in my back for fun

Kept the one I made, will make one for next year.

No

Not that I'm aware of.

10/12: The day I got a job and ended a fling.
